Becoming a Community Member

A simple community burial-support arrangement rooted in Taʿāwun, Tabarruʿ and responsible Islamic governance.

Your contributions are made as Tabarruʿ and held in the LMBA Community Burial Waqf Fund for the benefit of members collectively. The joining contribution rises with age so that those who join later make a fair contribution to a fund others have been building for longer. Members blessed with a long life may give more than the cost of their own burial; those taken sooner may give less. That is the heart of Taʿāwun: together, we carry one another.

Burial support is provided as a discretionary Grant by the Waqf Committee, subject to available funds.
