A burden no family should bear alone
When a loved one passes away, the last thing a grieving family needs is the stress of finding funds for your burial. LMBA exists so that your family never has to face that financial worry.
The Reality
In Luton, funeral arrangements costs approximately £3,000. Many families discover that their loved ones have left behind no funeral funds, or that your savings are not accessible at short notice for them.
Community Support
LMBA brings neighbours together. Your monthly contribution is pooled into a community fund that helps members cover their burial costs. This is neighbours helping neighbours, in the spirit of ta'awun - cooperating in righteousness

By becoming a member, you ensure that when your time comes - as it must for us all - your burial costs are covered, so that your family can focus on what truly matters: mourning, prayer, and remembrance.
How It Works
Joining LMBA is simple and straightforward. Here's how you can become part of our community.

Register
Complete a simple application with your ID and proof of address. Open to Muslims aged 18 and over. (Family membership coming soon)

Pay Joining Fee
A one-off joining fee based on your age, plus a small monthly contribution by direct debit.

Stay a Member
Keep your direct debit active. Attend community meetings, receive LMBA annual reports, and have your say in how LMBA is run.

Family Supported
When the time comes, your family contacts LMBA. We aim to process burial support within 48 hours, directly to the funeral service provider only.
